Kriegspiel Lite Pocket Battles is a modular, expandable and scalable fast paced wargame. The entire basic game fits into your pocket and takes up about 1 foot of area, making it playable anywhere

Face off at the company to army level with an increasingly expandable and customizable game.

Pocket battles is a game series featuring ready to play war games set in various time periods and themes

Kriegspiel Lite World War 2 is the first series in pocket battles. There are multiple ways to play listed below more details are given in each respective instruction section

Ways to Play

Pocket Battle Company Basic: Fast paced battles on a grid of 16 squares with an off board reserve area and optional flanks, 15-30 minutes with, 5-7 units plus commander per side, ideal for new players, casual play, fast campaign results, Each square represents approximately 250 yards length and width for a 1000x1000 yard area

Company Expanded : Battle on a grid of 4x8 or 5x6 with off grid reserve and flanks, Approximately 45 minutes to 1.5 hour games ideal for 2 company groups per side, 6-14 units per side plus commander and additional battalion asset (tank, Infantry gun, etc.)   

Battalion : Approximately 2 hour games, 3 infantry companies per side, with battalion assets, MG, heavy mortars, towed guns, etc. approximately 25-27 units per side. Utilizes 

Utilizes 4 terrain packs to create a 8x8 Board (81 Squares) a standard chess board with 2 inch squares will work as well with our terrain pieces placed onto the board 

Regimental: Sets can be combined further to for a regimental battle. This would be a 27x27 board and would take 4 to 8 hours to complete, it is suggested for casual play that anything above battalion level combat be broken down through the use of a campaign map 

Campaigns/tournament play 

Batllation : 1-3 players per Side 

Regimental : 1-9 Players per side

Divisional : 1-27 Players per side

Army : 1-81 Players per side

The Campaign Map

 A 1:24000 topographic map is deal for campaign play. Each square represents one 4x4 board of space,  Company level assets are placed on the topographic map, along with battalion, regimental division etc assets, movement occurs and when units come within engagement range , 1000 yards of each other, engagement may occur and a battle is fought on the company level utilizing any battalion, regimental, divisional or army assets available in the vicinity More is explained in the campaign rule book - coming soon
